Service Description

The Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction programme was developed by Jon Kabat Zinn Ph.D in 1979. It is a blend of meditation, body awareness, and mindful movement: learning through practice how your body handles, and can better manage, stress. Through this MBSR course, you will learn skills that can increase your ability to: • Cope better with stress, pain, and anxiety • Manage challenging events more skillfully • Be fully present and alive in this moment Research shows that practicing mindfulness can have a significant impact for those experiencing stress, anxiety, high blood pressure, depression, chronic pain, migraines, heart conditions, diabetes and other ailments. In addition, participants typically report feeling more alive and more "in-tune" with themselves and others.
