Listen to Jo be interviewed on the Self Care Club Podcast with Lauren Mishcon and Nicole Goodman. This podcast describes itself as part reality, part experiment, testing out self-care, so you don’t have to. In November, Lauren and Nicole joined Jo on a silent retreat day and this interview reveals all. Have a listen if you are curious about what to expect on a silent retreat!
This day is designed for people who have some meditation practice already, whether from doing a mindfulness course, using apps or just your own daily practice. It is also for you if your practice has lapsed and you want to get back into it! The day is designed to be a mini-retreat, and we will spend most of it in silence. You will be guided in various mindfulness practices, including some that you may not have practiced before and there will be time for reflection and sharing.
Here is a testimony from a recent silent retreat day participant:
"Thank you so much for an incredible and meaningful day. You were fantastic and guided us perfectly. Let me know when the next one is."
Please feel free to arrange a free 15 minute call with Jo to ask any questions before you book, HERE.
Half-Day Silent Retreat
This is a shortened ‘taster’ version of the whole day silent retreat for those who are curious but are not yet ready to commit to a full day. It will consist of a few mindfulness practices, and time for reflection and sharing.
I appreciate that six hours of silent practice may be a bit too much for some, so I am offering this half day ’taster’ so you can give it a try for yourself. As with the whole day retreat, phones will be switched off and much of the time will be me guiding practices, with time to share and reflect at the end. I am always on hand to answer any questions or concerns during the retreat.
Here is a testimony from a recent slient retreat day participant:
"Thank you for today Jo. You run the retreat with grace, kindness and care... immensely grateful to you, as it's not a small task(!) KY ."

"Jo’s passion for mindfulness is compelling. Jo teaches her subject with passion and enthusiasm. Throughout the course she instructs us how to live more mindfully and in the present but also prompts us to come to your own conclusions about areas of our lives that we live on auto pilot and that we are not even aware that we do it. This course has fundamentally changed the way I view various aspects of my life!"
~ Lynne
